Since Vitamin C works well with Vitamin E. And can work well with Niacinamide. Can Vitamin E and Niacinamide be used together on thier own?
I feel like I just gave you a math problem lol. Sorry.

I just saw all the A B and C of skin. You girls are boss when it comes to skincare. Whenever I want to buy anything I just see your review, if you have reviewed it then only I buy it. Keep up this amazing work girls. Lots of love and luck from India ❤️🇮🇳

  • I wanted to lighten my dark skin since I tan so easily on the face.
Usually I use Niacinamide as a main ingredient it did good with lightening but just quite slow to be effective.
So I wanted to try & experiment with something new.
I tried Vitamin C solely because of the rave from people,
but dang I'm so regretting my decision.

Well it did even out the skin tone, plump up the texture, refine pores & fine lines but nothing close to lightening.

If you naturally have a tan skin it will emphasize that bronze tone of the skin as it's main function is to brighten.

I wanted to use Vitamin C in the morning instead of night since it fights against the harsh free radicals & all.
But geez the tacky feeling was so unsettling.

Starting now just like Felisha had said,Vitamin C is going to be just an addition instead of a main ingredient for me.

Can't wait for my next payday to restock my Niacinamide babies.

What if the combination between L-ascorbic acid powder from The Ordinary mixed with niacinamide, is it safe?

  • Can someone please help me! So I bought the Vitamin C Serum from Klaris a while back, and when I first got it it was clear. Now it has turned into a light yellow color. Has anyone else experienced this, if so is this normal or do I have a faulty one? Thanks!

  • Steffi Reyes says:

Can I use the Drunk Elefant Vitamin C Serum with the Paula's Choice Niacinimide Booster???? Or should I just switch out to a Niacinimide Serum? I have acne scarring I would like to get rid of.!!

  • What about serums that combine vitamin c 20% ,niacinamide 3.5% , retinol 2.5% and salicylic acid 2% are they safe and effective?

  • _different _girrl says:

Gosh this video has ton of beneficial information but the way you guys introduce them is verry entertaining, thank u ur efforts are appreciated ❤

  • Great video but now i'm confused. i'm using some products from the ordinary and they have this contraindication for niacinamide:
"Contraindications: If topical Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid and/or Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid) is used as part of skincare, it should be applied at alternate times with this formula (ideally Vitamin C in the PM and this formula in the AM). Otherwise, Niacinamide can affect integrity of the Vitamin C" What are your specific thoughts on this since you mentioned not pairing these products was a skincare myth?

  • Priyanka Shah says:

Can you please suggest which vitamins C are better for acne-prone skin. I read Drunk Elephant vitamin C caused a lot of break-outs/acnes to people who have acne prone skin

i am really a total new be….in everything that a normal girl does……and i mean the beauty routine and make up stuff……i have never worn make up in my life, except in college when i was forced by my classmates to ware an eye liner and it was really a good thing that i studied in an all girls college in India…… and i admit that i am a total tomboy and in school i studied in a co-educational school and so i had two groups as in one group was all boys and the other was all girls……..but i mainly felt comfortable on my own, and on occasion, i would go to my best friend ,who was my classmate since 5th grade, to just have some all girls time, but the leader of the all boys group, and also my FAMILY FRIEND and CLASSMATE from 7th grade till 9th grade, would always wait for me and my friends would laugh and say "Becky…..i think someone is waiting for you" and they would point and when i looked in that direction, i always so him and his group at the door waiting for me and it always got me into trouble because both my groups would tease me by calling him my guy and it used to get me so mad that i even caught another guy by the collar and threatened to break his nose if he dared to tease me or my family friend again, once and he caught me in that pose and after that he always kept an eye on me………so back to my college days, the only thing i used to ware was just a lip balm and that was it……and then one day, one of my ex schoolmates and college classmate asked me "Rebecca, why don't you wear any makeup?" and i just told her "that's because i don't like makeup….and also my mum would kill me if she saw me with makeup" and my best friend and college classmate who was also my batchmate and classmate in school told me "Rebecca, we know that you were a total tomboy in school….but now we are in college and i think that it is time that you STOP ACTING LIKE A TOMBOY AND ACT LIKE THE GIRL you are" and so i ended up wearing eyeliner just to make my ex school mates happy and when i looked at my best friend with the eye liner on, she just was like "WOW! YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL" and i immediately took the eyeliner off and when the other girls in my class heard her say that they were like "Really?Rebecca, look at me?" and i looked at them and told them "i am really sorry, but i just took it off" and they forced me to apply the damn eyeliner again in front of them and then when i looked back at them, the girl who asked me why i didn't wear eyeliner, just went speechless and she was like "God! Ankhi was right! no wonder why you don't wear makeup! and why your mum doesn't like you wearing makeup!" and the other girls in our college group looked at me and one of them actually told me "if i was a guy I HONESTLY WOULD HAVE SERIOUSLY FALLEN FOR YOU! YOU REALLY LOOK GORGEOUS!" and the other girl was like "i really think that you should take that eyeliner off before you leave college or you might get into deep trouble with the guys outside our college gates" and that was the end of things…….and i of course told my mum this and she was angry but she said that it was good that i took it off before she saw it because she would have kicked my bottom…..and also i have had too much of unwanted attention from the guys out side my college gates and inside school that just before my family friend joined my school, my school had to use metal sheets to block the grills in the gate because i had been groped on my chest by some guy during my sports day in my 6th grade and everyone knew about it because it happened in front of everyone and not only that when ever i tried to run away from that guy, he would always follow me and finally i was cornered, but i saw a teacher just in time and i ran to her and told her everything……so yeah, i can't wear makeup because either way, i get groped and other such dirty stuff…… but i still would like to have a good beauty routine just to maintain my skin…… 🙂

  • Tenshi's Kiss says:

I started using Vitamin C a month ago (I’m 26 this year) and I can see a difference in my skin texture and it looked lightened. Mom touched my face yesterday and she said it was as smooth as my baby brother’s butt….now that I think about it, I hope she washed her hands before she touched my face…😓😓😓😓

  • So i used the ordinary salicylic acid serum in morning and euk 134 and retinoid on alternative days. How should i incorporate vitamin c into my routine pls?

  • Hey girls, you have been my bible when it comes to skincare. I need your help coz I can't seem to find the answers on my own. I am currently using Pyunkang Yul Acne Cleanser in the morning, Cosrx Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser in the evening, Pyunkang Yul Mist Toner and because I used to get a few acne cystic acne and I got some dark scars, I use Tiam's My Signature Red Vitamin C Serum on some parts of my face and on some I use Niacinamide from a local brand called Apotheke Science with the following ingredients (Niacinamide 10%
Niacin in a bed of aloe vera extract, aloe vera gel, and
    Sea weed extract).

I apply both serums in the morning and the evening as I stay at home all day.

So far I haven't had any pimple for a few weeks now and the marks are slowly disappearing but when I saw this video and the one on what chemicals shouldn't be mixed together, I realised that maybe my vitamin C is not that potent because my cleanser contains salycilic acid, my toner has butylene glycol and sodium hyaluronate and other ingredients that were not supposed to be mixed.

Am I sabotaging my skin care routine by pairing ingredients that don't go well together? Im worried what this might do to my skin in the long run.

Can you recommend a cleanser and toner that would go well with my Vitamin C serum?

    Thank you so much!! ❤️
