My son has been using the Nexus 7 2013 for about three years now and I am looking for something better at 7 inches. I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 and in this video I compared the two.
Updates: I forgot to mention that the Nexus 7 supports Qi wireless charging. Galaxy Tab does not support wireless charging. With regards to boot time, the Nexus 7 started taking longer to boot when the OS was updated to Android 6.0. When it had Android 5.0 it would boot up faster.
You can find both of these tablets used/refurbished for under $100 on eBay. I bought the Nexus 7 for $65 and the Galaxy Tab for $55.
At this point in 2019, the Asus Nexus 7 2013 remains the best 7 inch Android tablet. The 8inch Android tablets are a different story.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. It is a small amount and does not cost you anything. It helps link you to the products I use/recommend and It also helps me continue making videos on my channel. Thank you for your support.
